Who we are

In Colossians 3:16 God tells us (through Paul) to “allow the Word of Christ to dwell in us richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in our hearts to God.” The number one goal of The Paradigm Band is to equip college students in the city of Lubbock with Biblical truth manifested through song in order to say things to, from, and about Jesus Christ.

We are rooted in the community of First Baptist Church Lubbock, and we lead others in authentic worship on and off the stage through music, service, and intentional, personal interaction. We are committed to the mission statement of the Worship and Arts Ministry at First Lubbock that states...

We exist to provide worship gatherings that engage the worshiper with Almighty God in ways that facilitate total-life transformation which results in us loving God with our heart, soul, mind and strength and in turn, loving our neighbor as ourselves, 168 hours each week.

Outreach & Booking

The Paradigm Band is not limited to the walls of FBC Lubbock. Every year, we book D-NOW weekends, church camps, youth rallies, and other worship events partnering with local churches across the state of Texas and beyond as co-servants for the Kingdom of God. Should God will it, we’d love the opportunity to serve you and your community as worship leaders and followers of Christ.
